He has been teaching the game and amazing his students for over 25 years. Dave grew up playing junior golf in Texas and had success at the state and national level. He played collegiate golf for Weatherford College, University of Houston and has played professionally throughout his career.
Dave has trained and developed top juniors, amateurs, collegiate players and professionals. His students have competed on the PGA Tour, PGA Senior Tour, LPGA Tour, mini tours and numerous national USGA events. He has written many instructional articles sharing his unique approach with newspapers, trade magazines, and major publications and has appeared on the Golf Channel UK. Over the years he has conducted numerous instructional clinics, special events for large retailers and corporations.
Dave’s innovative teaching style is concise yet unhurried and simple to understand. His ability to get the root cause of a players’ swing problem in a short period is amazing. Dave is not a “one size fits for all method instructor”. He understands the causes and effects in the golf swing relative to the different strengths and weaknesses of his clients far too well to fall prey to the same methods for all. Instead, Dave utilizes a simple, holistic, proven philosophy covering the entire game which he developed over the years while studying and working with some of the game’s most notable instructors of today and the distant past. Dave enjoys sharing his lifetime of exposure and experience in the game while giving golf lessons in Southlake, Grapevine, Colleyville, Keller and Coppell.
